Playlist for Seven Springs Wine & Food Fest - Part 3

As promised, we're offering up tasting recommendations for six more wineries (G-L):

12. Glades Pike. Give all of their dry wines (Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Seyval Blanc and Riesling) a taste, but if you can, take a sample of their Mountain Mead (honey wine).

13. Greenhouse Winery. Another youngster (established 2007) with some interesting blends. Try the Greenhouse Red, Greenhouse White or the Pinot Grigio with a touch of Chardonnay.

14. Hauser Estate Winery. Unique wines include the Cabernet Franc Rose, historically-dedicated Devil's Den Red and Jennie Wade White, as well as those from their Reserve Collection (Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon).

15. Heritage Wine Cellars. If you like 'em sweet and chilled, be sure and try their Zin-inspired Blush, Chablis or Iris (Pinot Grigio). Dry wines may include a Burgundy style blend or White Riesling.

16. Laurel Mountain Vineyard. Enjoy their semi-sweet Pinot Grigio, Chablis-style Cayuga, Chianti-style Bella Rose or Raspberry Cabernet.

17. Long Trout Winery. The hipster names, alone, are worth the visit to this booth. Some examples include the Voyeur (Viognier), Cosmic Charisma (white blend), Hippietage (red blend) and Purple Craze (Chambourcin).

Let us know what you thought of these recommendations, and visit us tomorrow for wineries M-P.
